Janis Joplin did NOT record Stay with me Baby. She may have done it in a concert once but the original recording is by Loraine Ellison. Bette has at least three versions of this song floating out there: fro The Rose, from Divine Madness, and from Diva Las Vegas. I'm still partial to the version from Divine Madness. Nothing like when Bette gets down on the floor and sings....

@womanbeing The real Janis Joplin version is the best but you will not find it on Youtube. It is on the net though. The only problem with the Janis versions is that they are bootlegs. The Joplin "alternate version" is best but it is all in opinion. This is nothing like it at all.
