wow 50 ft that is deep, I thought the lake I fish in the UK was deep at 18 ft lol.

can I ask why do the carp in France get so much bigger than the ones in the UK?

I am new to carp fishing and would love to fish a lake like that one day, I cant imagine what a 50 lb carp feels like ripping line from the spool. excellent

One of the main reasons is that the weather is warmer for longer period in a year so the fish keep feeding longer than in the UK also most of us lake owners spend alot of money on feeding are fish when nobody is fishing the lake plus the strain of carp we stock are very fast growing and in the right conditions could be at 50lb before they are 8 years old.

At the moment it is just carp mainly also trout,rudd and perch, we are just seeing how much interest in cats before stocking a few big ones
