I have no idea how much Kim Kardashian gives to UNICEF, and neither do you. Let's assume, for the moment that all the people you named gave not 1, but $2million to UNICEF.

Is there some law I don't know of that would prohibit them from donating their name to a drive for MORE money from regular people like you and me?

Do you think UNICEF is swimming in so much money they can't use whatever personal money they give PLUS the other?

See, the problem is that you expect people to think rationally and donate themselves when they have gratuitous amounts of extra cash, which is clearly not the case. They are indeed cheap selfish bastards. I donate to a charity that protects wetlands, as i grew up on a lake and right by the ocean i feel its merely me protecting my home. When i lived back home with my parents in CT i was a volunteer firefighter, but they dont really have any volunteer departments in Boston, so im trying to go pro.
