Wednesday at Kentucky Music Week 2007 - music and fun spilling from all corners! I enjoy a song and a sing-along with Molly McCormack and hear a tune from Sam Stone, the Bard of Henryville, Indiana! Our "109 Session" comes courtesy of Tull Glazener who performs a sweet version of "Misty."

  • Oh, my gosh! This is a song my Mamaw used to sing to me ages ago! I can still see her hanging up clothes on the clothesline and her apron is blowing in the breeze and she is singing this. Sigh. . . okay, now I've GOT to clean house and do laundry! Shut it down, shut it down!

  • Music is magic, isn't it? Glad you enjoyed this!

  • Hey Bing, Great Video.....do you know what tuning Tull uses.....cause that sounds pretty sweet.I didn't think it was DAD but I didn't know what else it could be...anyways...this weekend was a blast..once again thanks for letting me stay with you....Later!

  • What's up, nephew? You know, I *think* it's DAD, because I've been messing around with "Misty" based on his fingerings and it seems right. I need to remember to ask these things. 'Twas a pleasure to share a room again - another congrats on your Kentucky State Championship!

  • Miss Molly is quite a song bird! Luv the "don't know the words face", I have a "don't know the notes" face that I use alot :), once again great video, and thanks for bringing dulcimer players to our living rooms.

  • You're very welcome, it's a pleasure and a real joy! Molly is great - will be seeing her again this weekend!

  • Tull, you are my hero...so great!!!!

  • Bing you know your dead wrong lol! You didn't know the words to the little birdie song Ha Ha!

  • now that you say that is does seem to have that deeper tone to it as well. Thanks greatchenman...I should have thought about that.

  • I think thats a baritone (AEA) the fingering would be the same as DAD but in 'A' . If you notice the string gauges look heavy.

  • I understand about the time thing - glad you're still tuning in!
