The Cosby Show

The Cosby Show was and still is one of the greatest sitcoms in television history. It ran for 8 seasons from 1984-1992.

***The kitchen looks very different in this episode from the two consecutive ones. It hasn't been expanded, and the table is obviously the old one. It looks as if this episode was shot before the big changes began.***

***In the scene when Cliff and the girls are at the table, you can see the food on the plates changing in every clip.***

***This episode, produced for season seven, did not air until season 8.***

In this episode:
Clair goes away to a law conference in Washington, D.C. Everyone expects Cliff to follow his usual pattern of gorging himself on junk food. Meanwhile, After learning that some classmates are planning to take a cab to the school dance instead of being driven by parents, Rudy, Susan and Danielle decide to prove how "cool" they are by taking the subway.

  • @OneSmartKitty umm ok with the kiss but interlocking hands and cuddling with your father isnt wrong i do it but not the hands or the kiss part

  • Raven was so hilarious when she was little! XD

  • @4:45-6:43 - i LOVE the newspaper scene.... I love how Dr. Huxtable interacts with Olivia.

  • Don't get me wrong, i think Olivia is cute too but please, Raven is such an over actor it often gets a little too silly.

  • that is a good meal to me

  • I adore this show,me and my daughter watch it on a daily basis when we eat dinner. It's great family t.v.I only dislike that one sceen, that is all.And thy to the person who was kind enough to upload each video, you've made it possible for all of us to enjoy them. :)

  • @Constance,

i'm not going to get into war of words with anyone. When someone "disagree's" with something, everyone jump's on the bandwagon and miscontrues the whole thing until it's paper thin.Look,i gave my opinion k.Did i say i didn't like the show? NO.I adore this show.Did i say the relationship was not special between him & on screen kids?NO,i didn't.I commented on one scene that i didn't care for.

  • @OneSmartKitty

First of all, this is a television show, so don't take it so seriously. They were portraying a father/daughter relationship that I think is much more acceptable than most shows on television these days. Example: On showtime the show called Shameless, i believe, shows a more despicable family dynamic than The Cosby Show. Second of all, I would love to have a relationship with my father like they "act/pretend" with Bill Cosby. Rather than the one with him now. No contact period.

  • @OneSmartKitty not really it just depends how your mind thinks.
