Superman II Donner Lerner Combo Ending

I just watched Superman 2 the Richard Donner Cut and I must say it was pretty impressive. I liked that ending better except that he ***SPOILER*** used the spin the world trick again. Which has me thinking how many times has Superman made a mistake and just rewinded the world and had a do over. Anyway I kept the Superman magical kiss because of the great dialogue between Clark and Lois and had him respin the world because in the Silver Age of DC Comics Clark and Lois would've never kissed, just Superman and Lois...plus isn't he vulnerable to magic? How is he able to have the power of amnesia. Anyway I hope enjoy the combined ending. Though I have to say both this ending Donner's ending kill the plot behind Superman Returns...oh well that's why there's a reboot.

@MattFoleyMotivation It's on the Richard Donner version except they're not flash backs it's part of the movie, the flashbacks were created by me to better tie in the two versions of Superman II.

Thanks for posting this Corellality. The Christopher Reeve Superman films are my favourite of all time so this was a treat to see for the first time ever. I too have a problem with Superman turning back time AGAIN, it's repetitive. Plus the added scene of Lois crying at his Fortress of Solitude seemed excessive seeing as she was going to cry again in the office. One big flaw I noticed is that the Phantom Zone exploded in space so it wouldn't have been affected by earth spinning back.

@eugene1 Spinning the world makes more sense than the amnesia kiss but in Donner version the explosion was caused by Superman throwing one of Luthor's rockets into space from part one.

That was really well done introducing those Flash Backs. I'm sure the production Team of Superman, should they be looking in, would be envious of your effort and wished that they had thought of it :)

I like when Lois says he is a tough act to follow and he gets this look on his face like "Damn my awesomeness!"

Can't wait to see the Donner version - I just ordered it.

From what I have read, if you spin 7 times around the Earth, at the speed of light, you actually travel in time...I dont think Superman is making the Earth spin I think he is actually going back in time to prevent the stuff.
