I don't understand. What right does Horowitz have at 4:46, to magically make Mozart's K330 sonata 3 mvt one half tone higher. I understand that he was one of the best pianists, but seriously? Play it like the composer, the genius Mozart, wrote it. I understand that pianists at his level can improvise, but seriously, this isn't improvising, this is making something completely different and it's inappropriate. He's a amazing pianist nonetheless.

@shineluvslambiel you really do?
-
almost too much harmony in the setup:D
as remarked, old people tend to look similar, thence horowitz with his unpretentious smile playing honest mozart and furthermore no stupid biting in the commentaries, but even little lectures:D thats the horowitzian spirit:D

i wish, one day, before I die, I'd be able to play Mozart with the musicality and clarity that Horowitz does/did.
