@Bravoto in that video V8 has manual transmission automatic cuoldn't start so rapidly, V8 4,2 automatic gets owned in a straight line by a 3,6 manual, until some 150km/h reached... some people managed tu do a 6,8s 0-100km/h wit it while 4,2 automatic does 'only' 7,2-7s 0-100km/h and 3,6 automatic does same acceleration in 9 seconds.

well of course 4.2 has better performance bit 3.6 makes much less technical problems and doesnt take so much fuel

@quatzi08 3.6 and 4.2 are almost the same engines, the same construction, the same reliable, I can't say if someone of them can make more or less technical problems, it depends on condition of engine, And if we talk about fuel consumption, than yes, 4.2 uses more fuel.
