A collection of photos, footage {we've come up in the world since the previous Melbourne trip movie}, music and audio describing the journey my friend and I went on to attend the Last Melbourne show of "The Phantom Of The Opera" at the Princess Theatre. Once again, my apologies for taking so long uploading this movie.
My personal thanks to Jaime; Anthony Warlow, Julie Goodwin, John Bowles, Jackie Lees, John O'May, Simon Pryce and the remaining Melbourne Cast.
I would also like to thank the 3AW radio team of Keith McGowan and Bobby Johnson.

  • Wow! This video just made my day! Your Phantom doll is adorable and your costume is to DIE for. I seriously gasped aloud when I saw it. Love the hat and cape the most. It looks like you had oodles of fun on this trip!

  • Thank you for your comments. There were two Phantoms and dolls in this though. The smaller doll in the beginning is the Ken and Barbie Phantom doll set from FAO Schwartz. The latter is a Beanie.

I am so glad you enjoyed seeing this video. My friend and I had loads of fun, as you can imagine.

    Take care.

  • Wow... where on earth did you get that Erik doll? I'm sure he gets up to all sorts of no good. hehe

Those costumes are to die for! Awesome vid, It would have been great to see the show in Melbourne. Sydney was awesome.

  • Mrs Hyde, thank you for your comments. The Beanie - as was the Ken and Barbie set - were purchased from Ebay. (Lovely Ebay!).

I would have seen the show - in Costume - in Sydney, alas, a medical issue prevented me. Thankfully I got to see the show 7 more times in Adelaide. :D

Still can't get enough though. :D

Take care, Mrs. Hyde, and thank you.

  • wow...I love your video...and I adore the Phantom of the Opera...

  • Thank you very much, Letizia. It was a fun time seeing the show back then. It's a pity the Aussie tour is over now. :(

Oh well. Maybe someday it will return.

    Take care.

  • Thank you once again, Dzve.

I love my Phantom souviners - though, of course, my purse doesn't. Tsk tsk tsk.

    Take care.

  • Thank you, Dzve. Unfortunately, I am not very artistic so I sort of "skip" the disfigurement part of the ensemble. It's generally more than warm enough wearing the Phantom Costume and mask that having makeup would be just too much.

My sympathies to those who perform the Phantom role under those hot stage lights. Phew!

    Take care.

  • oh and great job on Phantom make up :)

  • great video :) you have some awesome Phantom souvenirs etc.
