you got them both dialed pretty close" I think the landry has a tad more snazz".A little more freble for the Marshall.

@SgtThump Im not quite sure how to put it but the tone just wasn't there. it sounded like a cheep-o chinese amp when the gain was pushed and it started to "Break Apart" I've returned it now and I'm looking into mesa mark v (I know someone who can get the head for 1300) and the dsl50

marshall gets my vote plus it looks much cooler.

@SgtThump I'm serious Sarge - you'll love the MKII! Best effects loop too. The clean channel alone is worth the price of admission. Oh. and the gain - yes the gain...

@Sk8bordr125 What exactly did you not like about the Renegade? I thought it was a fine amp, but I also love the DSL50. I've had alot of great luck with a DSL50 head into a Greenback loaded 4x12" cab. Excellent Marshall tones, but slightly more modern with more low end and gain!

Another brilliant demo Sarge! You have such smooth phrasing of all your licks, they're like butta! Really brings out the dynamic nuances in those killer tone machines. What pickups you got loaded up? Thanks for the demo man

@timrav9122 You are too kind! Thanks man! This yellow Charvel is one of the few guitars I've really bonded with (my R8 Les Paul being the other.) It's all stock with a Duncan JB in the bridge and '59 Model in the neck.

killer tone, great playing!
You seems to not be cranked a lot on this vid right? I'm surprise to hear tones that good, at this volume... no attenuator?
keep on rockin!

@maxlamenace987654321 Thanks! I wasn't fully cranked, but I did used to play pretty darn loud at home. Sometimes I'd be louder at home than on stage with the band.
