Jon Dette (Testament, Slayer) was recently tapped to fill in for Charlie Benante on a bunch of Anthrax tour dates. Just recently, he was also asked to fill in for Slayer for the Sound Wave tour in Australia. So Jon is now drumming for BOTH bands Sound Wave. He took a few minutes out of his busy rehearsal and touring schedule to tell us what the experience has been like.

    Do any of you guys want to hang with Jon and a pile of other kick-ass drummers, take a master class from, maybe some private one-on-one lessons with him, plus more? He'll be at the 2013 Thomas Lang BIG DRUM BONANZA, July 3rd thru 7th in California. The other kick-ass drummers include Thomas Lang,George Kollias, Chris Coleman, Stanton Moore, Virgil Donati and Dave Elitch. Submit a video for the BDB play-along-contest ($10,000 in drumming gear grand prize), plus free admission into the Bonanza.
