My advice is to ignore the detractors. Don't waste your time on them! It's a foolhardy venture because they won't budge, in fact, the attention just fuels their fire. Consider them agents of misinformation.
Instead, attack the problem and always offer a solution.

The talking head asks about "taxing the rich". I'm so sick of this media-induced smokescreen. Who the hell are "the rich" anyway? Can the average Joe relate to this nebulous group? How dependent is Big Government on their tax contribution?
Shut off your TVs America! Television is propaganda! The truth is out there but it's not on TV... it resides only in our libraries and the collective mind-share of the internet.

Eh? What is she talking about. The system in the UK is COMPLETELY and utterly different from the one being proposed in the US. There's virtually no comparison at all. I can tell that because I'm British- and also I've lived in both the US and the UK. Why are some Americans so incapable of just having the debate rationally in relation to America- instead of trying to twist up their own argument by slandering other countries incorrectly. It's just too bizarre.
