Emily Luther

WPRO's Bekah Berger recently sat down with Woonsocket native Emily Luther, 19 who, along with her singing partner Charlie Puth, appeared on a September episode of Ellen and was signed to Ellen Degeneres' record label. Luther and Puth sang a cover of Adele's Someone Like You that was originally intended for a Perez Hilton YouTube cover song contest but ended up in the hands of Ellen. Luther, a sophomore at the Berklee College of Music in Boston is also a former Miss RI Teen 2009 and a graduate of Woonsocket High School. In this clip from the interview with Emily find out what Ellen Degeneres is really like, the unusual place Emily found herself while watching her appearance on Ellen for the first time and hear about some of the other celebrities Emily encountered on her Hollywood journey.
