3Olive99 - The people I was calling idiots were the ones who yapped loudly about their personal crap all through Sereena's set and only shut up when Melissa came on. I assumed that they were there only for Melissa, and missed Sereena's talent.. So I will admit, I really don't know if those types of fans are an idiots or ignorant. As for knowing nothing, I wouldn't hazard a guess at your IQ or bother trading insults. Suffice to say - I'm would gladly have a battle of wits with you any day.

Got my tickets for the Sudbury show! Yay!
The way I see things is that Serena allows Melissa to have access to cities that she wouldn't normally have access to, ie small towns off the beaten path that bigger artists often miss the chance of seeing. Elton John in coming here in 2008 said that more artists should experience the smaller towns.
Anyway, awesome song. Look forward to seeing it live!

@Navi1057 Honestly, the idea that Etheridge is pushed by "MTV" is a bit beyond me; Etheridge paired with Serena introduces people TO Serena who otherwise wouldn't know about her. So I'm sorry that you saw it as people enjoying one artist over another at the expense of your enjoyment, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intent of the artist's working together.

Saw Serena and Melissa in Windsor last weekend. Actually went more to see Serena than Melissa. Her set was great - just her voice and guitar - and she didn't disappoint. Only problem was with idiots in the audience that obviously were only there to see Melissa. They missed a great talent and made the experience for those of us that don't need radio and MTV to tell us what is good somewhat less enjoyable. The ignorance of some people truly astounds me at times.
