He was great. Classically trained. He ended on a pretty sour chord though.

@marktarmannpiano He's a good player, with good harmonic facility, structures his improv... it does seem a little planned I will admit but you've got to remember this is one of the hardest tunes in the jazz repertoire, it's going to take some planning. Face it, he's a great player, no need to be a dick about it and go on about his feel and stuff, it's one thing he's gotta work on. Why don't you give him encouragement instead being a jazz snob?
