  • Lol wow at the flame war going on. Tool are not sell outs, not at all. I saw them back in '06 and Kirk played Sober with them as well.

@Big77Jim their music is so unique that it's hard to classify. They definitely have a heavy prog influence and they're heavy at times. To me they're more like prog/metal/alternative. They may not play with the Dream Theater technical ability (those guys are on a league of their own) but their music is very intricate and complex.

  • @allofnothing yeah man that was a pretty epic concert. I too was surprised on the sound quality of te iPhone.

  • correction... at 0:13

  • @extremeadhd Oh yeah she said shit LOL!

  • I can't see anything. Did kirk replace Adam or did je just play along with him?

  • @DanteDellamorte They jammed together.

  • Put out some new material TOOL

  • Nice combination, but I don't know if its worth it spending time on metalica melody when Tool is on stage!

  • If they only played "for whom the bell TooLs" ;D

  • @twowheels808 I dont know man, Tool's time signatures are right up there with Dream Theater. Different as far as type of music but a lot in common as far as style and how danny moves around in the pocket.

  • Going to see them on the 17th.

    Going to BE FUCKING AWESOME!

  • @extremeadhd no1 is perfect

  • I first heard 10'000 days, the album, and since then I've been loving everythong that I hear fro. Them, old or new, I have no idea what people arguing about... Sellouts? 10'000 days is incredibly unique sounding and got all the progelements that i like other tool songs for. and what Ive found the have done nothing that count them as sellouts. BUT WHAT THE HECK IS KIRK DOING THERE? HE's LOUSY!!!!

  • I would give my left testicle to see Tool live, since i already gave my right one to see APC. I'd give em both to Maynard in a heartbeat!

  • Is Tool Prog/metal?I think the music is at times but the vocals are not.I do think Tool is the best thing going in the industrial scene. Are they as good as Dream Theater or Symphony X?Technically not but they are still great.

  • @dopefiend138 10,000 days was great. It could've been better. It was kind of a lazy effort on Tool's part, but good nonetheless. Don't worry, young grass smoker. The next album will be better.
