This is One of 101 Lies Taught In Church Every Sunday. The rest can be seen on my blog at www.gracewalkministries.blogspot.com or through my web site at www.gracewalk.org.
Can i get practical answers on how we can TRUST GOD, or can you explain how I can trust Jesus to live his life through me. For example if I have been struggling to pray in the morning when I wake up.. How do I trust GOD in that situation if I'm not to try but just Trust.
@hrush001 Well yes generally speaking we should avoid accusing our brothers/sisters. But to not rebuke a modern day pharisee who goes around with a message proclaiming that you either love 'god' or you burn in 'hell' forever and ever (which is a corrupt translation), just to keep a supposed unity would be truly wrong imo. Think about the multitude who will 'close' their hearts to the Good News, when they hear something like that.
Hey Pastor, I've been checking out your vids and so far you are pretty sound. I only want to encourage you to remember that our brothers and sisters in Christ are not "lying" on purpose. God has allowed you to see the Word without religious tradition, so remember that other Christians need you as an advocate, and not a critic. I think the word "lie" is pretty strong and can agitate division instead of helping believers understand what the Bible really says. God Bless.
I used to believe this myself, and to beat myself up for not doing as good as I thought I should, as others thought I should, or as I thought others were doing.
