It's 1 day after Hurricane Sandy in Brooklyn. After falling asleep to the sound of galeforce winds whipping through the panes in my windows....I woke up to silence, un-pinned the sheets from my windows, and saw - a bit of sun already. I was okay, my block was okay (one of the ones that DIDN'T get flooded), I still had power and most of my friends are all okay. I immediately thought of this song - "Sun's up, uh-huh, looks okay, the world survives into another day...." Thank you.

Good job by the audience too...and how many songwriters throw "petroglyphs" into the mix!

Five people didn't watch for the lions...

Always loved this song! Glad I got to see him in Hollywood back in 2011, but I hope I get another chance!

Jesus saves the lions from extinction? If that is so, i will start believing in him asap.

or did he die for the sins of the anthropogenic damage we are doing to the planet? (as if people who wreck can wreck even more than ever before)..

Quintessentially Canadian, and a fracking brilliant song.

Saw BC in the early '80s in Wellington, NZ. Fortunate enough to chat to him after the show....just a great evening with great music. A concert I will never forget.

I first heard this song when I was a kid, eating at the mission with my homeless mom.

My goal as a child when I was grown was to live inside. I've accomplished my goal. This song has always given me hope.

No, I wasn't there. My husband plays and has followed BC's career since the 70s. He recognized the guitar in this vid. We have only seen him play live a couple of times --once in Windsor, ON, and another at the Beacon in NYC-- not nearly as many as we'd like to have done!
