SONG: Vienna
ARTIST: The Fray
VIDEO: Hamlet
SPOILERS: For the Play and Movie

I was actually working on another Hamlet video (which is going to take me quite a bit longer than this one did) when I needed a break from it. Thus, I decided to make another video and this is what I decided to do. The Kenneth Branagh movie is so very pretty and a good source for a music video, I feel, and I love the song Vienna by the Fray. Therefor I chose to put the two together because they fit well enough.

This video only took me a day. Also, there is a fraction of the amount of cutting in this video when compared to the others. There are no hard cuts either, everything is blended together because I think it works better with the slowness of this song. I also fade to black alot.

Here it is! I hope you enjoy it!

  • This is the best Hamlet music video on youtube... I love it.

  • this is amazing.

  • This is a perfect mix of video and music! Very rich and moving in all aspects. Thank you for creating this work of art. Leaving aside even the romantic aspects ... there are people who simply choose not to be 'reached' :( A very sad finality if they don't turn around from this quite tumultuous mindset.

  • so sad but wow!

  • I agree odd choice of song...but you did an amazing job on this video and the song really fits!

  • Just wanted to say, I came across this while doing an assignment on the Hamlet movies, and this definitely made doing my homework a little more fun. I thought this was a very good movie, and I adore the use of Vienna. Great work!
