That's right.
It should either go from 60 to 1 or from 59 to 0.

Just a thought. If you are to use this as a time keeper, you would loose one second every minute, and loose one minute every hour.

ya i got an arduino for chistmas and a nhd-0216k3z-fl-gbw lcd screen like you what pins did you use for it i was wandering becasue im a begginer XD very excited about it so thanks for vid

Check out the description. There is a link to pictures that I took showing the pins. Also checkout the forum at Fungizmo's site where I purchased the LCD.

ok ty i have to get a new soldering iron to solder wires and the jumper if i solder the jumper will other configurations be messed up?

The jumper puts the LCD into I2C mode. The sample source code is at Fungizmos site.
