These Combos depend on which Fighting Mode you pick from in "Samurai Shodown 6."
Either way, very nice!

@thundertower, I can assure that SS6 is the best SamSho so far. It only have combos of 3 moves, and in rare occasions, 5 moves (that take, in maximum, half health bar). The combos shown above are being made on practice mode and the enemy is adjusted to receive any damage as counter hit. That is why all characters keeps comboing punches, kicks and slashes. The regular SS6 doesn't allow this, or any other cheapness, and it's the best fighter I ever specialized into it. Play it, you wont regret!

@str8kila wasn't even aware of 5 and 6 but i can see why people would hate these sequels. Should've went the kof route where they only improve a lil bit on the graphics but the gameplay is still the same maybe add 1 and 2 new features tops. Oh and should be NO COMBOS, maybe 1-3 hits that fine but 5 is too much you're using a sword for crying out loud in the real world 1 slash is enough to kill your opponent.

@thundertower every hardcore 2d fighting game fan must have this collection or life will not be complete. I was so thirsty for it I bought it on ebay cause it was impossible to find it in the store. I remember when I was younger i used 2 see these games in the gamepro books but i could never have them cause the neo geo was too expensive. I had 2 settle for the inferior super nintendo version and part 2 and 4 was never even released in the U.S.A . This collection brought me snacky happiness!

i. need. to. get. the. anthology.
FFFFUCK this is far superior than tatsunoko and all these new fighting games, 2d games for the win.
Samurai Shodown was never about combos though. Since it first came out it was all about pokes and strong attacks to punish mistakes (like actual swordfights).
