Serious indeed. In 1990, commenting on my 1989 book, where I recommended tracking the ball longer, open stance, topspin, finishing across the body, Tennis Magazine and the US coaching bodies dismissed it, calling it crazy, while Europeans studied them and quickly adopted them. 15 years later everyone is doing it, although still diluted in the USA. Now, in addition to insist on certain of those earlier aspects, I am showing a step up from what has become the high level coaching norm.
