Turbo miata just chewing the tires before the end of the season :) fully forged/built 1.6L bored over begi s-4, GT2871R, #3 intercooler, HKS bov, coolant re-route, oil cooler + reroute, 1.8 LSD 4.10's, RC 650cc, ACT stage 3, FM butterfly brace, bumpstops and sways, full 3" magnaflow exhaust, 8000k HID's, yes a cheap sport bar...sparco seats, momo steering wheel. You can hear how lumpy the cams are at the end of video the car died on me i had to restart it. Enjoy.

  • How is the lag with that big turbo on a 1.6? What rpm do you get full boost? What cam? That car must scream up top!

  • @MyOpinionMatterss Its not that bad turbo is fully spooled before 3500rpm cant remember, shes been away all winter lol. Lag isnt bad its a 2871 and fully built motor and 3`` exhaust if you do your setup right you wont have any problems if you do a chincy setup then the lag will be terrible. And it has hks 156 cams thing idles like a muscle car sounds lovely though. And if i brought you for a ride youd shit your pants, going to put in a new intake manifold this year hoping for 315rwhp :)

  • @bubbolootz what 0 to 60 and the quater mile and how is the motor fully built and your not getting like 350 to 400 or is it 315 to the wheels which i gess is prity fast for that little car

  • @ecosby100 havent been to the track lately. Will be in a month or so, got my new intake manifold have to install it. Motor is built except the crank everything else has been changed. Was at 278hp at the wheels and i blew my intake manifold gasket. So i will be returning to the dyno soon, hopefully pushing around 315 to the wheels. And its only a 2871 turbo if i knew i was going to max it out that quickly i would have went with the 3071.

  • @Jashrose Also another suggestion if you plan on spending all that money you might as well get a LSX swap they will get you 300whp stock not to mention no lag and the torque. Check flyin miata out they have kits where it can be a straight bolt on affair.

  • You forgot a standalone and a good tune, it will make a world of difference in performance and relaibility. A good clutch will be on the list too. Also remember a wideband to check your AFR at all time. With all that you will hit 300whp easily.

  • Ok for all this miata experts this is my first time building a miata im hoping for at least 250 hp to the wheels, here is the list of what ive done to it; wiseco forged pistons 8.9.1 compression, eagle rods, commetic head gasket, port and polish head, racing main bearings, new stage 2 clutch, 20g turbo, 2.5 downpipe all the way to exhaust, arp head studs and arp rod bolts, new valve seals, overbore block, planning on boosting 12 psi as a daily driver.. Answers please
