I alwats felt safe at West Park. Played there myself and attended many concerts over the years.

I have an incredible amount of respect for this band. All of my band directors, from elementary school up until my college years, have been members of the Allentown Band. They really define the Lehigh Valley.

Our West Park is now a gang hangout. West Park where the bands play has turned into a Rumble Park for thugs. Several times last month police had to come in to the park to stop the fights after school. Knives are used and commonly heard are gun shots. Allentown's West Park isn't even safe for the squirrels since the Hispanic Gangs have moved in from New York.
Stay a way there are murders weekly. Yesterday at Center Square a man was stabbed to death at 3:30 in the afternoon.
