This seems like it was an ingame team due to Staraptor having Defog. Or maybe it wasn't I don't know maybe they were going for a defog - Fissure type thing. ...I used Plusle, Minun, Ludicolo and Kingdra(unseen)My opponent used Staraptor, Flygon, Espeon, and Ampharos.

The only time I've seen Defog used was strictly for eliminating Reflect and Light Screen. Other than that, I've never seen it used, and considering how uncommon Reflect and Light Screen are, I think Defog is even rarer (unless it's an in-game team, like you said).

I'd rather use a Pokemon with Sweet Scent than Defog since I think Sweet Scent lowers both Pokemon's evasiveness at once. I hate OHKO moves though.
