How to play ticking clock sound or church bells on the guitar ? It's easy ;) Try it !!! It's not fake .
To play clock ticking mute left little finger strings 1st and 2nd. Next pluck these strings fingers of your right hand.
To play bell intertwine strings 5th and 6th. Next press first finger left hand between these strings.Next pluck 5th string. Enjoy it ;)

This proofes that you can make a whole lot of sound effects with just your guitar, amp and fingers! Great tutorial!
