India with Kids in 8 Days

We tried to see as much of India as we could during these 8 days. The trip went Mumbai-Delhi-Amritsar-Mcleodganj/Dharamsala-Pathankot-Delhi-Agra-Delhi.

It is truly an amazing place. I look forward to returning again soon.

They moaned a little, but they are used to travelling, and when they are hungry...they eat. As we are vegetarians you would think we had the easiest of times in India, but we don't eat dairy or eggs either, so we ate lots of rice and steamed vegetables. We had plenty of wonderful food with more spices as well.

All that stuff was there, but it's not any worse than Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Actually stopped at a street market one day and ate local food, as we are vegetarians, finding roasted corn and bananas was easy once we convinced the driver to stop somewhere other than a tourist restaurant.

needless to say, this has gotta be the best video i have seen on india on youtube ever. i wish more people from the west see this country in such a +ve & a non skeptical way that you have seen this country. i think 9 mins of that video says a lot about the kind of values that you as parents have given to your kids and i am sure they are gonna grow up to be just like you, appreciative of other cultures and people, they dont have to look outside of your family for role models. im very impressed.
