@drbotanus I cant say that it resembles a Viper as they were depicted before Dark Empire. When reading Dark Empire 2, I didn't look at it and say "There's a viper!!" It was diffferent enough, and this model is different enough that it just doesn't scream out VIPER!!! Incidentally, the Viper was originally designed by Ralph MacQuarrie who designed much of the Star Wars ships and Buck Roger's Starfighters. Dark Horse (and Marvel) have used a lot of MacQuarries rejected stuff.

@drbotanus I would say that the viper existed before the dark horse comics. Therefore the comics borrowed from the viper model... but that is just pure opinion.

The other ships look amazing.The Celestra was always popular being the only old battle cruiser they had. It had that tiny bridge like Earth sailing ships did at the time.

Actually there is a fighter featured often in the Darkhorse STAR WARS comics and graphic novels (Dark Empire etc.) that is virtually identical to this one.whose stealing from whom
