@FayeKane It's a known fact that ANY kind of changes trigger hate comments. Same for youtube design changes, or any other site or operating system. And to be frank, I consider hate comments to be spam. Don't like it, don't buy it. Win8 brings innovations which will force manufacturers to explore new ideas and possibilities. It'll just cause technologies to evolve, it doesn't force the consumer base to do or buy or change anything. You can stick with win7 for all I care.

Hey my name is Microsoft. In high school i was lame and every1 always picked on me. I was infamous for my pizza face, knack 4 always getting sick, and my inability to sustain a job over a long period of time. How can I get these apps ?

I'm using the developer preview but I really need the calendar and mail and all of these apps, how can I download them ?

Windows store is not available yet so how you've downloaded these apps or got it.

I say these apps will be in the next beta in january 2012.. they will have a beta of this .. this is what people are saying i'm not for sure if its true, but surely enough i think thats when ur gonna see it.. just be patient windows 8 RTM coming out soon folks probably in april.. but the DP version is pretty stable and i tested it out on my desktop and my netbook.. i must say windows 8 works amazing on netbooks compared to windows 7 big plus there.. keep up the good work MS :)

People may say ooo microsoft is copying Mac OS X 10.7 or Linux (ubuntu) and like saying its using these HTML style apps.. Now i must say LInux probabley introduce this to all of us First right.. gooogle and its android systems... but all companies are not copying each other.. I say this is the future of computers and each os has their own thing.. as in microsoft has a very nicely brushed up APPS for their OS like Windows LIve which i use alot since like the mid 90's so i say awesome :)
