This was taken about a week ago and I haven't been able to edit out the first section of video where he is slightly out of frame, so, here is the full version and you will have to wait until he eats to see his first bath in the lasagna pan.
Blackie is now spending all his time with his crow family, squabbling with his siblings, flying around and roosting with his parents and learning to forage and stash food. I have to call the whole family in to feed him, but he still needs feeding every 1 1/2 to 2 hours during daylight hours. He can pick up food off the ground but loves to be spoon fed.
His chest still has baby down but when flying he is indistinguishable from the other crows, unless he dives down to me. His call still sounds like a baby but is gradually getting deeper.

I just experienced seeing a baby crow - much like yours - die in a neighbours pool. I saw the parents trying to rescue it - it was alive at the time - as I tried to get thru' my neighbours fence (crazy knotted system these folks have on their gate). Sadly, the crow drowned - but did manage to get neighbours to take him out of the pool - with the pool net I couldn't get too. I'm going to miss this little bugger - but he/she has 2 other fledlings.
