nobody was watching it because channel 4 execs decided to piss about moving it around all the time to accommodate big brother. Just look where that got them - failed soap and a failed reality show!

Brilliant! I've heard the early theme tune on You Tube and finally found this one - this is the one I remember from when I was a kid. Remember watching it back then and was the best soap on TV. I'll never forget the Trevor Jordache storyline... or Ron Dixon's dicky ticker and his Angina :) thanks for posting this tune, has brought back quite a few memories of the time.

I liked Brookside in the years 1998-2002. I was totally hooked. Shame it finnished.

Im glad you think its pathetic but do you know why. this was done back in 2996 with old software so if you want better. you try get better software and do it yourself!
