  • Nong126: He seems like an intelligent and articulate mediator type of politician. He seems like a non-corrupt person who is willing to work with people and reason with them. Hard liners can be a problem too. Consider Joseph Stalin. Good luck!

  • @mordred612 You make a good point. Things and people are not always what they seem to be. I don't know this man well enough to say anything more definite than 'seems'. But he did make a very good first impression. I wish him well.

  • @redletterchurch SEEMS. I like that SEEMS. He would want to SEEM that way, wouldn't he?

  • @drchayo Not elected as Prime minister. He assumed office in December of 2008 and didn't protest Taksin being overthrown by the military in 2006. So he wasn't ELECTED and you don't have democracy if the people aren't allowed to vote.

  • @mordred612 Mr. Abisith was a member of parliament after the election. So he was elected. In fact, he has been elected a few more times than Thaksin.

  • keep fighting man.... Takky is going to hell soon and Reds are getting a bit on the edge now.

  • This guy won't be in power long. He was never elected in the first place. You don't have a democracy if the people aren't allowed to vote. I've been to Issan many times and what you have in Thailand is the poor class in red protesting the power and influence of the wealthy class. People with nothing are dangerous because they have nothing to lose. I fear Thailand will fall into chaos after the King dies and there is no monarchy to hold the country together. Another Burma or Cambodia.

  • Abhisit and his corrupt puppet goverment were NEVER elected.
