Sorry about the not so great picture quality and the glitch (towards the end). I still think it's enjoyable to watch, though.

Lindsey Buckingham was and is a big fan of Brian Wilson. It's said he got authorization to listen to and study the original Smile tapes hidden in the vault as homework for their album Tusk.

That is true but a version was also recorded during to Tusk sessions. It was just re-recorded during soundcheck on the Tusk Tour for the LIVE album.
