The chord changes for this tune I had in my head for over a year and when I played it on guitar I kept thinking of Iraq and the suffering of the people over there.

This is a very beautiful lament for a most unfortunate place. Iraqis are beautiful people and don't deserve any of this. They did nothing to America. They never even set foot in America.

The innocent children, women and men have died for the covets of oil, and American blood has been spilt as well for the same ignoble reason. This evil blemish on America will now last for centuries as future generations try to understand why any nation would wish this on another.
