Notice how O'Reilly is far more interested in turning things (such as even this interview) to cookie-cutter-conservatism. He isn't a "traditionalist", it's a word he hides behind because if he's marketed as a "conservative" he'll loose some of his audience, and thus money.
The conservative ideology is summed up in four words every time. "Anything for a buck".

Sure, he's a total douchebag on the shows, but believe it or not... when he is not talking about what he is passionate about (politics, etc) he seems like a much nicer guy. I still find it hard to respect him, though...

This is a TERRIBLE human being. Seems quite likable in this video, but watch him on his show. What a bully and a screaming jerk. Listen to him talk up how his catholic education made him and his buddies just a little bit better than the public school boys. More boundaries; he learnt better morals at school than did the normal kids. Right wing nut!
