"Bad Reception" is It Donned On Me's entry into the 2010 San Francisco 7 Day Film Festival:
http://sevendayfilm.com
Winner of "Audience Prize" and "Best Sound"
Nominated for "Best Film", "Best Comedy", "Most Imaginative" and "Best Editing".
Entirely produced between July 31 and August 1, 2010 as part of the competition.
This is the "8th day" version - we cleaned up some of the green screen, sound mix and color correction for the final scene, but it is not substantially different than the competition version.

Hi, which one do you prefer? Zoom H4n or Tascam DR100 and why?
YouZulky 1 year ago
@YouZulky The DR100. In terms of sound quality they are both great, but the Tascam has a couple important features that the Zoom doesn't. First, you can adjust the levels on the two channels independently - you can't on the Zoom, and it makes it difficult to use it with two different mics without an external mixer. Also, it has dual dials for adjusting the levels, while the Zoom just has an up/down rocker.

@YouZulky Second, the DR100 has an internal rechargeable battery that takes over automatically when the main batteries run out. On the Zoom when your battery dies you lose whatever was currently recording. On "Intrinsic Self", our fire performers documentary, we had to re-shoot a 30 minute interview when the audio was lost due to the Zoom batteries running out. The Zoom is great, but now that I've used both (and the prices are nearly the same) I'd get the Tascam if I were buying one today.
