  • Sorry but true your both wrong it was Edith Head !

  • Edith Head was replaced as the show's costume designer after the 1st spisode of "The Judy Garland Show". Her designs were considered too sombre by the show's Exec. Producer. I think Judy wore this gown in Show 23

  • You are both wrong!!

  • No, we aren't!!

  • is this gown bob mackie??

  • Well, it's either Bob Mackie or Ray Aghayan. The gown is one of her tv series costumes and Aghayan designed the majority of her costumes personally. Certainly, it was a gown that she wore quite a lot in her last 5 years. I think she last wore it as late as Nov '68 for the Arlen tribute

  • @bradly2007 I love Judy, when I was child I watching more Judy's film ... Judy IS the musical! (sorry for may english!)

  • @sarakat76 Guys you can tell from this clip & others there was nobody who compared to Judy...was digging her when other fools were putting her down & never understood that negative trip...always felt many were just jealous of this gigantic talent and couldn't handle it but their loss...miss Judy all the time but love watching the awesome things she left behind and thankfully now new generations can appreciate the greatest on youtube...long live Judy!!!

  • @bradly2007 wow you are luky

  • @bradly2007 if only i was there...if only... :)

  • @NicoleLeighKarbowski Judy played end of Summer 65 & as a crazed teen fan got front row tickets Opening Night...lucky choice as it was only full Concert for that engagement...she looked great, much younger & prettier than she photographed & wore a funky pants outfit w/ high boots & Chinese Red Top & moved all around the stage, sat down on piano bench, also had high stool and watching her was magic...mesmerized and didn't want the night to end & these gems take me back...nobody compares!

  • @bradly2007 what!!!!!!!!!! you saw her in concert!! you are one lucky S.O.B. i am sooo jealous right now you have no idea!

  • This video shows how much you learn from Miss Judy Garland, Sullivan was a powerful show back then, Miss Judy was the best entertainer and performer from the system she was in. LOUIE B knew it and did what was to be the end of this rare talent. It was LOUIE B's money that took the life of this great star. Her voice was too big for him to pass up.

  • @plp1964 Judy's still The WORLD'S GREATEST ENTERTAINER. No one before or since can give a performance the way Garland does. The young ppl who find JG on youtube are blown away by the sheer power and Talent she exudes.JG Gains more fans everyday .When her name is mentioned it involks respect and power. "Singers" today dont have great voices, they lip sync at their concerts and use tech to enhance their voice. Ppl arent used to seeing a singer like JG. We crave to be entertained and Judy does it.

  • @SplinterG66 yes Bob Mackie designed this.. Judy didn't have anything of her own which is why she always kept what was designed for her. MGM and WB had all her clothes custom made since she had a unique body type and it was impossible they said for her to go to a store and buy clothing. So TJGS designers created alot of her concert gowns and out fits...She wore this dress a number of time and they were let out when she gained a few pounds and then taken in when she lost weight..

  • @Franziasack R.A/B.M designed all the Clothes for TJGS series. In book about TJGS C.Sanders is very informative .RA/BM even designed clothes for her NYC trip beause. SHE had nothing to wear it was cold in NYC that time Producers had coats, casual outfits made for TJGS and so she had clothes to wear. Her body type made it impossible tobuy from a store. E. Head designed l eps of TJGS series but she was replaced due to drab colors/costumes. E.Head did do TJGSpecial wSilvers and Goulet in eary''63
