Down the mountain below San Pablo will see a pretty substantial sewage flow into Lago de Atitlan. This in definitely one small village with a heavy impact on Lago de Atitlan, Guatemala. A bloom of Algae is always present on the lakes shore. 1/18/2010

  • @Videoneoneo The sewage plant was wiped out many years ago by heavy rain. I believe there is a local effort to stem the problem. Seems the government has been slow to build a new sewage treatment plant. Not sure of the present day progress. Thanks.

  • Do you know what the sources of the sewage were in this video? Did you notice any attempts to contain or treat sewage at all in Guatemala?
