  • @TimYoung8 Just sayin', if he's looking at open cans like the pro 2600's, I'd rather go for a company that is proven in producing good, open cans. Or, if you'd still like that massive bass... try the Beyerdynamic DT990's...

  • @snow4lifMerkley14 every headphone out there is better than beats. Go on head-fi.org for info.

  • @DragonnReising Ultrasone are known to be the best phone for electronic music and great bass. K701 can't do bass and more suited to say Classical music. Each to their own.

  • @snow4lifMerkley14 My god....I have the K701's.... Everything's sooo well-balanced. I'm actually starting to dislike the booming feeling of bass after listening to these. All the highs are very refined... The sound stage is 9/10 in terms of size...It's mostly width. Picking out instruments is easy. Bass is honestly a 7/10, and it needs a good amp. iPods are mediocre. GET AN AMP.Ultrasones are known for their good closed cans... I'd rather go for a company that's known for good open cans.

  • im looking at the ultrasone pro 2600, they are very nice and seem to be good quality and sound. but are these headphones better than monster studio beats? or akg q701? or sennheiser hd650?

  • that guy is an idiot

  • If this is a great headphone, their advertising campaign is going to sink this company. Nobody wants to hear fly-by-night infomercials with paid endorsements and "critical" reviewers with a company microphone stuck under their nose. Too bad because it could be a good product but they must drop the Billy Mays "Blu-Blocker" style advertising. BTW, Bose has a huge ad budget, but their products suck weenie. I'm not sold until I hear independent uncompensated reviews from home users.

  • she just completely sold me

I was looking at an excuse to buy the ed8

  • Yaw dropping technology, taught in year 12 physics class...
