  • @Johndunbar116 There's a bellows under his other arm, which he pumps in a similar way to the main bag, but he pumps the bellows in and out.

  • Mind boggling. Didn't watch - just closed eyes and listened. This is the finest piece of NSP playing I've ever heard.

  • Take note of the bellows under his right arm. It is pumping air into the bag. This is different than the highland bagpipe which is mouth blown.

  • Wonderful video!!

I'm a bit confused though, I noticed he wasn't blowing in the bagpipes, is there another source of air? Or am I just confused about the anatomy of the bagpipe?

    Thanks for posting!

  • It's Miracle! I Feel So Much Power in this music... but i'm from Russia)))

  • Chris, thank you very much!

    Hallo from Moscow, Russia! :o)

  • I finally have Peacock's Collection and I found the tune in there. I can follow the first five measures and then I get lost. I can't reconcile what you are playing with the music. Can you help clarify this for me?

Is this tune available on your CDs? Perhaps if I was able to slow it down I could figure it out. Thnkas for any help you can give.

  • They're tuned AEA here, but G drones (without the D 5th) work too. The tune actually alternates between modes, with the 1st, 3rd, 5th parts in modal A and the 2nd, 4th etc in C major!
