I built a racing seat and added a clutch pedal and gear shift lever to my Microsoft Wheel. You can read more about it on the Forza Motorsports forums. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/3262016.aspx

  • hey man would you mind giving a step by step tutorial of how you managed to wire in a clutch pedal and shifting lever?

  • @cubsrock10997

Check the description on this page to a link with more information.

  • would u build another one and sell it to me?

  • @dkwhat2put

I wish I had the motivation to build more, but I don't. It take a bit of work to modify the wheel, build the frame, find a good bucket seat, built a clutch pedal, and build a shifter mechanism. I wish there were cheaper options for others out there. Playing Forza on a good setup is incredibly fun.

  • if only I had the tools and the skills. nice job

  • Too bad its next to impossible to get any of those things here in shitfest Iowa. Nice set up though, I really got into Forza recently and have been wanting to at least get a wheel but they only sell PS3 wheels here and not 360 ones. Which angers me greatly.

  • @vespat27 $100 without the wheel

  • how much was all of this?

  • @bcr4977 there was not that much could you show what you did like solder it look liked you did that to the clutch pedal

  • i was debating buying a donor pedal assy, and wiring in the brake pedal on the new assy, into the "a" botton circuit and bolt it onto my current pedal assy. boom, clutch pedal. damn...

  • i see sir...thank you for the info. i have been using the the clutch "button" for some time now, personally i love it. but IMHO, to install a clutch pedal would only be worth it if its variable. great work though, on the r/d. happy racing!!!

  • @stifreak14

I have a resistor inline with a switch that engages the clutch ~3/4. It does absolutely nothing. Forza treats the "A" button as a digital on/off regardless of the resistance. It sucks because the "A" button is capable of analog depending on how hard you press the button. Probably not practical due to the sensitivity. Game play is still 1000x better having the clutch pedal over semi-automatic shifting.

  • @bcr4977

really? hmm...damn, see i was hoping to do this mod. So, with the clutch pedal, i assume you used an variable resistor, so you could in theory have a digital proportional clutch?

I really want the ability to slip a clutch in Forza 4. Any word on weather or not the "a" signal is analog or digital, in FM4?
