Zakada - Infinite Trail

Indie/ambient band from Negros Occidental. 1st Single played on air. 7 track EP will be out soon.

Zakada, composed of for members Oliver Lirazan, (vocals), Karmele Portillano (vocals) Ryan Genill Sevilla (guitars), Gerard 'Spooky' Pontino (Samples, Bass, Keys), is an indie group which hails from Bacolod City, Philippines.

Their sound could be well-described as sugar-coated techno with harmonious sweetness and sugary flavor poured to it but it leaves a haunting and spirit-lifting experience. The band's name was inspired by the farm workers called 'Sakadas' (meaning slash-and-burn) who make ends meet by toiling the heat in the sugarcane fields of Negros Occidental where the city is its capital.

The four combine their diversed influences and musical abilities to make music that's 100% fresh and gives a distinct mark that's simply Zakada

wow nice song... but guys the Founding member of the original zakada band is a friend of mine.. he's in his mid 30's now... i believe this is a new blood of zakada.. but anyhow.. you guys should go to the next level.. you got a great material... one love and much respect... more power.. hope to see you on the main stream..
