This is 4 weeks after Gary had his left hip both elbows and shoulders operated on for hip dyplasia and elbow dsyplasia and I don't remember what kind of shoulder problems. Didn't fix his other hip because it is already dislocated due to malformation of the hip, so there is no bone grinding to cause pain even though it is still dysplastic. FHO on left hip. He was never able to go up and down the stairs this fast prior to his surgery. 11 months old puppy.

  • has anyone read about the stem cell therapy for this? it is something I am considering for my rott.

  • My german shepherd was just x-rayed and found she has hip dysplasia and im heart broken, wanted to cry, and just don't know if my mom can aford this surgery, how much was it for you?

  • Gary's doing great. He is no longer on pain meds. He still sometimes has stiff days, but it does not slow him down at all. The vets say he will still end up with arthritis, but his pain now is not even comparable to what it was before, and its only for the first few minutes after having been sleeping.

  • he is fine not going do op keep him on pain killers

  • Hi, how's your rottie doing these days?

My 1 y/o rottie KayLee has severe HD and the first week of May she's going to have a total hip replacement on both hips. I just hope everything will turn out fine. Cross my fingers !

  • Gosh, this is proof dogs are like warriors.. he's lucky he has such good family that had him mostly fixed from all the irresponsibilities their breeders made. I'm glad he's doing on.

  • i want to know and see more as my 10 mth rottie has HD
