  • I love this song and I hope it doesn't get lost with time. I first heard this song sung and accompanied on the piano by Fats Waller. If you  like Fats you should definitley check out his version, you'l love it.

  • "Before she became a really big star?". Benny found Martha in Jeff Alexander's "Camel Swing Chorus" on his "CAMEL CARAVAN" radio show in August 1937, picked her out of "obscurity", and she became famous as his #1 vocalist for the next two years. This "obscure" song, recorded on December 23, 1938, is a good example....
