  • MrAutoanything you didn't listen to the video .... it clearly said you get 2 spools, 2 ropes and a set of nuts for 2 wheels. it doesn't matter if you have an open, lsd or locked diff you use the 2 spools on the wheels

  • As has already been stated, The Bush Winch is designed for those who go out by themselves and is designed to be used on both wheels at the same time.

It does not require a locking diff. Two spools one for each wheel you are going to winch from..

Good luck to you if you get stuck by yourself and when you burn out your winch. Have a nice stay in the bog hole or will you use a hand winch.

  • Did anyone think of using it on a 2wd car that isn't conducive to mounting a winch on? It should work on front or rear 2 wheel drive I would think.

  • It certainly can be used on a 2 wheel drive as well and you can wich from either the front or rear. We preferably winch from the rear as wiching from the front puts massive strain on the steering joints

  • "Even a female can carry it!"

  • yep and whats more females can operate it.

  • Crikey... that's a bloody fair dunkum idea!

But... what about for an Internat'l Scout II with a 5x5.5" bolt pattern?

  • Questo sistema era già in uso 50anni addietro sulle landrover, però devo dire che le innovazioni apportate lo hanno reso efficientissimo, complimenti!

  • @rioaguanegra the military had a smaller permanently mounted version on all wheeled vehicles in nam and korea.

  • New spin on an old concept.. 40 years ago, I saw my grandfather use something like that he made from a wheel without the tire (or tyre).

  • Hallo, Does anybody know the name of that anchor, or where can I buy it , please?

  • This also requires you to spin your wheels which if you're bogged is going to dig further down.
