Probably purchased at auction when Loring AFB closed down in the 1980s.

Definitely an old Oshkosh. My guess is there was an auction where state agencies (countys, state, airports) get rid of their old machinery. We have several auctions like this every year in Wisconsin and you can pick something like that up for dirt cheap,,,, depending on whether anyone else is bidding.

Belongs to Len Poulin out of Benton.
It is a WT2206 Oshkosh with a Sicard BX bank head blower. Most likely an ex Air Force unit.They were purchased by the 100's from the mid 1950'sto 1965 when the 2206 model was replaced by the P-series. Where was this photographed?

@JamesRm37 This was in the JFK mall in Waterville Maine. It is used buy a subcontracted company that removes snow from commercial parking lots. I have also seen it parked in the Shaws Plaza about 1 mile away.
