@trollstomp That was when MTV was still good. Alot of good bands that didnt sell out back in the early to mid 90's had music videos on MTV. But now as we all no MTV is just all bullshit.

Would it even be possible to accuse a defunct band headed by a dead guy of "selling out?"
Personally as much as I love Type O, I really doubt they will ever have any serious post-mortem success and fame like Nirvana or Hendrix. They're music is great, and their influence is huge, but at the end of the day they are just not "that great," and if the cynical snarkieness that Steele showed when he was interviewed was any indicator, he probably would prefer it that way.

I often wonder, since they're way better then they were ever recognized for, if Type O gets some legendary status after Peter's death...will ppl freak like when My Girlfriend's Girlfriend got MTV time saying they sold out
