  • sweeeet!!

Im selected for AFS exchange program to US next year!! Im exciteddd

  • nice :) I can understand how exited it is, because I was in the same situation 2 years ago.

Do you have already a host family?

  • nope. not yet. I got the acceptance letter early this month and had to send in my details, medical checkups, some school statements etc. Ill know my host family details in December, i think. We will depart in January 2010!! wohooo

  • well that's gonna be interesting; I got my family details 1 month before I left.

When you're there you'll see: it's the best thing that could happen to a student :)

  • yeah. I hope Ill have the time of my lifee!!

btw, where r u from and where were u hosted? how was it? What was ur host family like?

  • I'm from Germany and went to northern Norway, in a "city" with 4000 people living there. How it was? It was excellent, although my first family wasn't that suitable (that's completly normal), but then I went into a perfect family.

It was such amazing that it's almost impossible to put it into words, the whole year
