This is a cover of a Townes Van Zandt song recently released by Steve Earle on his new album: Townes It is played on a 1979 Martin M-38, in a DADF#AD tuning and capoed on the 2nd fret......hope its ok....
Sounds GREAT. I thought you were Steve Earle for a second. :) You've got more hair tho!
You really nailed the guitar part. I can tell Steve must have used one of his Ms when he recorded it, because the tone is so close to your performance here. Really cool.
Of course the song itself, and your performance, are the focus. Awesome stuff. Thank you for brightening my gloomy afternoon! WIsh I could get an M-36 with the OM neck; watching this makes me want one even more. :)
@everysinglenamesgone thanks, every ! he does us an M-38 most of the time......i am really grateful for your reinforcement...and glad to have picked up your day !!!! t
Great cover, sound as good as Earle's...great job.
