@solpapisolmook Also if your thinking I am full of s**t my Sensei happens to be a sergeant with the local sheriff's office, a member of S.W.A.T. and the sheriff's office Police Defensive Tactics instructor. We are taught both traditional techniques and practical applications of these techniques. We know what were doing and hardly become blind practitioners of any art.
And we as martial artists do not disrespect others in such a manner as your comment...so I assume you missed the lesson. Oss.
@JTAC2010 Now to those reading my previous comment I was explaining Aikido's effectiveness to the spammed comment not disrespecting the video. Very good explanation Sensei it helped my understanding of movement within randori.
@solpapisolmook While I must agree with the fact that he is moving slow I must point out that he is teaching not actually defending himself. We who do actually practice Aikido...well some of us, have practiced other arts and knew how to defend ourselves long before Aikido, I did anyway. Aikido in order to work MUST be taught correctly. I however will not degrade a sensei's teaching as this is disrespectful. The techniques if taught correctly work well but are hardly as flashy or peaceful looking
thank you for the series that you have presented. I have been looking for some videos just like this to help me understand more about movement and placement of ukes in randori.. an area I have been having trouble with
